So, I haven't produced any new stickers or paintings in a long, long time because I've been busy relocating to Austin, TX to attend the U of Texas at Austin.  I am not majoring in art or anything related to art, except, well, liberal arts.  I'm double majoring in Arabic and Japanese.  I fucking love the shit out of this city, it's amazing.  If any of you find yourself here, lemme know and we'll paint the town in day-glo shades.  I have put many of my paintings up around my new apartment, and I am very satisfied with them as aesthetic factors, haha. What's up guys?  What's new with you?

POLL

0 min read
I can't do a real poll because I'm not a subscriber, apparently, derrrr... So we'll do this old school.  Anyway, I'm technically a Japanese major at UT at Austin, but I haven't transferred yet.  I'm thinking seriously about majoring in a different language.  I'm planning to enroll in an Arabic certification/study abroad program as well.  What language do you think I should major in?  Just reply in a comment or note, if you like. French Spanish Russian German Japanese Other (specify)

New Scrap

Check out my scrapbook.  The last entry/submission is a snapshot of what I've been working on for the last few months.  It's still mostly underpainting.  I'm planning to paint over all that is red or black/grey.  There will probably be a lane at the top, flanked by pink bushes.  I'd love to hear suggestions on colors for the trees, ruins, and the lane.  It is loosely based on two paintings, one by Andre Derain and another by a California woman named Trice Tolle.  This is my most planned-out piece, so I'm taking my time with it.  Plus with school, sending off applications to UT in Austin and UW in Seattle, and looking for work... I haven't bee

I was looking through the forums and saw your post from Aprill 2009
"Bipolar Disorder and Creativity".

I too feel the same and have gone through the endless nights of writing nonstop at times.
I was diagnosed around 2012 august type 1 bipolar.
Feel free to check out my poetry and deviations anytime.
Hey Aliens,

Keep cool this summer, it's already a scorcher, on the red planet. Pack some sunblock and shades if you're planning a trip here, to Mars, this season.

Sincerely,
The Earthling

hey thanks for the attention,

Here in Sacramento th epost offices and customer service counters in super markets typically have piles of stickers just laying there for the taking because you pay for the sticker with your post stamps..

I'm not sure if thats how it is everywhere, considering I have only very rarely seen "rolls" of the Priority Mail Adhesives.
